Getting Started

On your first day you’re never alone, our communal seating in the bullpen will make sure of that. There will be intro’s, coffee and a dedicated team member (buddy system FTW) there to answer questions and familiarize you with in’s and out’s of our process.
 

Show Up

On your first morning, just head straight to the office to get started. Throughout the day, you’ll get the grand tour, a quick orientation, a bit of paperwork, opportunities to meet your teammates, project information downloads, and training.

To make your training experience as easy as possible, you’ll be partnered up with another team member to walk you through the specifics of your role and other daily processes. Take notes!

Credentials

We use 1Password to manage all of our logins and passwords. You should receive an invite to create your account and unique master password. Don’t lose it or you might using a dreaded pencil and paper to create your next website.

Tools of The Trade

Our primary client facing project management tool, internal communication tool, and center our operational universe is Slack, Asana, and Notion.

These three tools work together to house our project’s information, discussions, tasks, progress, and more. They also ensure that nothing is overlooked and our team runs like a well-oiled machine. Purr, engine, purr.

For tracking time and general creation across the board, we use Harvest and Adobe Creative Cloud. We'll give you the full lowdown of how we use all of these tools on your first day.

For those nice-to-haves that cost extra in the App Store, we ask that you put in a request by emailing hello@bravepeople.co and let us know what you need and why.

Key Cards

On your first day at the office we’re handing you the keys (literally), except they will look more like a key card. You will use it to enter the office from the front door or back alley between the accessible hours of 7am and 7pm. Do your best not to lose it. If you do, let us know and we’ll issue a replacement.
